
Ngā Kaitiaki o Te Puna Rongoā o Aotearoa – The Māori Pharmacists’ Association (MPA) has established a multidisciplinary team with broad expertise to deliver services. MPA comprises a membership with extensive knowledge of the health system and the enablers / barriers to negotiation of it for consumers. MPA has hospital pharmacists, community pharmacists, clinical pharmacists as well as pharmacists with a special interest in health literacy.
MPA has formalised relationships with whānau, key government and health organisations, participates in key health forums and committees, sponsors and mentors students, provides Māori clinical advice and leadership across the broader Aotearoa New Zealand health sector.
