He toa taumata rau | Courage has many resting places

On Saturday 25 April, we commemorate the centenary of the ANZAC landings on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey. What followed was a bitter eight month campaign that helped to forge our nation.

ANZAC Day is a time to reflect on the servicemen and servicewomen, past and present, who have displayed courage and self-sacrifice serving our country.

Honour them by attending one of the many ANZAC Day parades and services being held across Aotearoa New Zealand.
