It was our tremendous honour for our Chairman Wiremu Matthews to invite Pauline Te Karu on behalf of our membership to become an Honorary Member of Ngā Kaitiaki o te Puna Rongoā o Aotearoa at our 2015 hui ā-tau over the weekend .
Pauline has been part of Ngā Kaitiaki since its inception in 2003. Her qualities have turned a national professional Māori health collective from a group of native pharmacists into a whānau, and her diligence, her intelligence, her common-sense approach, her support and unerring veracity have turned us, the MPA, into a formidable force that now leads Māori responsiveness in the pharmacy sector… and she is the heart, the manawa, of the MPA, and she is our whānau. Pauline has long have been, the lynchpin in the operational wing of the MPA.
Ka aroha nunui ki a koe e whaea.
